Red and Navy

January 25, 2010

Quote of the day:

The art of resting the mind and the power of dismissing from it all care and worry is probably one of the secrets of our great men.

– Captain J.A. Hatfield

And which is a better day to keep our mind active yet carefree than a Monday? It wasn’t easy to get back to work after the weekend, I wished I had one more day off. Maybe that is why I decided to wear some bold read today – to keep the Monday blues at bay.  Mixed with navy, red just gives you that kick you need when feeling sleepy and grumpy!

I love this – it reminds me slightly of an air hostess uniform – but in the days when uniforms were classy and elegant, not trashy and badly fitting like today! The red and the blue suit you really well.

Swoon! I love the playful vintage nod here… you almost look like you could have stepped out of the 40s or 50s.
