The Eternal Style Of Coco Chanel

January 21, 2010

 Quote of the Day:

A style does not go out of style as long as it adapts itself to its period. When there is an incompatibility between the style and a certain state of mind, it is never the style that triumphs.

Certain clothes never go out of fashion. Why? Because they adapt! They pass nonchalantly through decades, always confident in their ability to reinvent themselves. Like this Chanel style jacket.  Like a black pencil skirt. A pair of black heels.  Always changing and always the same.

That is why they we call them classics. It’s their eternal relevance.
