Modern Red Riding Hood

January 16, 2010

When I woke up on Friday morning and looked out of the window couldn’t believe my eyes. The snow was gone! I mean, completely gone, not even a trace left! The evening before the whole yard was covered with snow and just disappeared overnight!

So on the first days of the weekend I took the opportunity to have a nice walk in the beautiful Irish countryside without freezing after 10 minutes. I am supposed to handle cold well due to my Eastern European roots – but it is all a myth, or maybe I just acclimatized to Irish weather!

So here I am, enjoying the mild air and hoping that spring will come soon! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Quote of the day:

Life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

I love this detail on the coat - the little collar belt is a miniature version of the bulkier buckled belt
