Ladies Day at Leopardstown Races

January 8, 2010

Looks like the snow will stay with us for a while, so I decided to use some of my earlier pictures without the white background for a change! They were taken after Christmas, on the day when I went to Ladies Day at Leopardstown Horse Races.

It was the first time I dressed up for Ladies Day. Usually I just spontaneously throw something on, so carefully choosing an outfit was a bit unusual for me.

I decided to wear something warm yet elegant, with lots of colour and a vintage feel. I made a hat to match my outfit , bought a vintage clutch customised by Fabula by Anka and the outfit was complete.

I made vine coloured velour cloche hat to match my outfit and decorated it with dark greent, fuschia and vine coloured feathers to compliment the pattern on my coat.
