I do agree that models tend to be a bit on thin side in general but what cought my eye on this catwalk was that most of the models were actually quite healthy…maybe the pictures don’t show it 🙂

It’s an occupational hazard in the modelling world to be thin like any job has it’s good and bad points. That doesn’t of course make it right. These models are definitely on the healthy side compared to the catwalks of Paris and Milan. Who decided that dresses look good on a body that could be of a 11 year old boy; I don’t know.
What annoys me is that fashion magazines are trying to put the blame solely on the designers saying that they don’t make the clothes big enough so they HAVE to book skinny models. Big fashion mags have a say and can certainly influense these things -if they want to.
